Be among the first to try the edgerover™ desktop app! After i login via ssh. I am able to login to the nas ssh interface (as root) and when i run the command. It’s a larger version of the my book world range of products which have quite a following at. I can see the share usernames listed. Once in, i went looking for the sftp subsystem as listes in the “/etc/sshd_config” file and it is not where it should be. How do i get root access via ssh? I achieved this by reformatting all of the drives on my temporary linux machine then plugging them back into the sharespace. 3 is ok 3, i have no more ssh access 27, i can’t lg into root (bad password) have you solution to change/reinit the root password ? But i can’t get root access.
It says on the advance configiration tab that the password is welc0me. I changed home directory in /etc/passwd file for user and set chmod for directory and files exactly as you wrote. Insert the software cd into the cd or dvd rom drive. Then you will probably have to give those users ownerhip and access to the the group “share” by using the chown command. How do i get root access via ssh? I remember that i could login by “root” as user and “welc0me” before. Passwd [any_share_username_here] and the change is done. Ssh root access is working fine with key files.
