In preassure cooker add rice, beans, potatoes, salt, turmeric, clarified butter, and 3 cups of water. Now add fried moong dal which we did earlier and soaked rice. Mix in sugar, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala (optional). Khichdi (1 serving) contains 24.2g total carbs, 21g net carbs, 3.8g fat, 4.3g protein, and 141 calories. Also sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder, mix them properly. Soak the washed rice and dal in 3 cups of water for 30 minutes. Conventionally we use equal part of rice and lentils for khichdi.

Rinse rice and moong dal separately under water several times until the water runs clear. Now take a pressure cooker, put rice, moong dal and water in it. Open the cooker and check the rice and dal.
